YogPets: HOLY SHIT IT HATCHED!!

It's been a couple days since the encounter with the creepy dude and getting your strange egg and so far the most that's happened as far as that goes was going on the one site you go on daily, DeviantART, and chatting with your friend Eps, AKA Zerere-the-mummy who also encountered the creepy man. Today was just a somewhat typical day of chatting with your Portuguese friend.

Werecatkid17: The guy has some seriously freaky mojo going in order to go from America to Portugal among other places. O3O

Zerere-the-mummy: I'd give my right hand to have some mojo like that. How's your egg doing?

Werecatkid17: you and me both. my egg seems to be just fine, Mandrake's helping me care for it. He not like the fact i got it from some creepy-looking pale dude but he'd never neglect an egg.

Zerere-the-mummy: Tell him I have one as well, maybe he'd know what sort of mojo would be needed to travel from place to place to distribute mystery eggs.

"Huh, not a bad idea Eps" you mutter to yourself as you type your reply saying you'd ask the bat-like demon. If nothing else maybe Mandrake would have an idea of how someone could manage such a feat if not who could manage it.

Werecatkid17: i'll be sure to let you know as soon as i find out anything.

With that you go to speak with Mandrake about what he might know.


After a couple minutes of listening to Mandrake you pick up your strange egg before slopping down on your bed, back first, and just rub the egg in thought. Sadly Mandrake said that though such a feat requires strong magic, it can be used by any high-ranked wizard or sentient dream so for all you know the stranger could've been freakin' Merlin in desguise, your familiar's old mentor, Madururu, Chester, or Wonderdream for that matter! You groan in defeat as you sit up and place the egg back on the pillow you had on your night stand, complete with a cozy blanket, and get ready for bed yourself. Something told you tomorrow was gonna be a pretty busy day.

As you climbed into bed, Mandrake went to perch by the egg to make sure it would be alright through the night as well as look through various spells and charms he had on hand. Little did either you or your familiar know that the moonlight filtering onto the egg from your bedroom window and the magic from some of Mandrake's charms would coax the egg into hatching.

The next morning you woke up to find a mysterious weight on your gut. At first you dismissed it as just your cat, Screw Ball [or Crazy Kitty as she's often called in your household] curled up and asleep on you. Sadly that wasn't the case for a few minutes later you feel like something was staring at you as you tried to sleep a little longer and as you cracked one eye to see what the hell was going on, you wake up fully with a start to find a pair of glowing blue eyes belonging to a grayish-silver little creature that resembled a little Digimon with a round head-body and noodly limbs that could very well be it's arms. The creature seemed to get startled from your reaction and ducked behind a still-sleeping Mandrake. Apparently it was as spooked as you were.. Poor little thing. In any case, after you calmed down a little, you get up out of bed to coax the little guy out of hiding, being careful not to wake Mandrake, and got a better look at it. It was then you realized that it has the same markings your egg had and thus you mutter in awe "Oh my God, so you're what was in that egg?" you mutter to yourself when you finally manage to get the creature out of hiding and into your arms where it made itself cozy and seemed to doze off.

As you sit on your bed with your new little pet in your arms you try and think of a name and a possible explanation to where you got it once Mandrake wakes up [though you have doubts that it'll be necessary]you smile a little as you think his coloring seemed like a moon beam, an almost shimmering silver color. "Welcome to the family Silver..." you murmur to him. Just wait until your friends hear about this.
